ANKARA, Türkiye — The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) hosted an executive delegation from Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) at its headquarters in Ankara for high-level bilateral coordination and technical discussions.

The meeting brought together executive leadership from both Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) to evaluate strategic collaboration, operational synergies, and technical alignment across regional air navigation networks.

The visiting Saudi delegation was led by SANS Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdulaziz Al-zaid and the executive leadership team.

The DHMI delegation was led by Director General Enes Çakmak, alongside Deputy Directors General Dr. Cengiz Paşaoğlu and Mustafa Akkaya, as well as relevant technical department heads.

During the sessions, the executive teams reviewed the current dynamics of regional airspace management and discussed key areas of mutual interest.

Following comprehensive technical presentations delivered by DHMI and SANS leadership, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close institutional dialogue and establishing practical working mechanisms to advance bilateral air navigation cooperation.
